While some might think of Novi Sad as a smaller city, it still has many restaurants and cafes to choose from. This is true even for vegetarians and vegans.

Vegan restaurants

Rekalibracija

Rekalibracija has been in Novi Sad for years and has a large selection of vegan fast foods. To save time, you can call them to order by phone so that the food is ready to be picked up when you arrive.

Ananda

Ananda has a daily vegan set menu that is offered starting at 1 PM daily (except Sundays, when they are closed). Sandwiches, burgers, and desserts are available on their regular menu.

Vege Vegan

Vege Vegan is centrally located and features a daily menu like Ananda. While some report that the working hours are not always predictable, others claim this is the best vegan food in Novi Sad.

Plant Power

Located across from Sweet&Green in the city center, Plant Power is the fanciest vegetarian place in Novi Sad. In October 2024, they opened this newly renovated location in the heart of the city.

Zdravo Razum

A vegan fast food place similar to Rekalibracija. There are more cakes and sweets on offer here than at Rekalibracija. There are only a couple seats for eating in, so it's best to order for takeaway.

Vitamins Healthy Bar

A small cafe offering vegan smoothies, juices, salads, and snacks. Good for a quick bite.

Vegetarian restaurants

Sweet&Green

A soup and salad shop located in the city center. They specialize in salad, soup, and breakfast bowls. You can also make your own salad with your choice of ingredients. They also offer salads with meat if you are eating with friends who are not vegetarian.
