Not to be outdone by the capital city to the south, Novi Sad has a large assortment of cafes. Some of these have very nice interior design and offer an excellent environment to work from. This list focuses only on non-smoking cafes.

Mandarin

Mandarin offers a very large fresh juice assortment and some Russian desserts. Although there are not so many seats that are designed specifically for laptop ergonomics, the interior is large and often quiet.

Le Bol

Le Bol also serves food, so you can enjoy a meal or a snack while working from here.

Freeshka and Freeshka 2

Freeshka has 2 locations. Both have many seats so you're almost certain to find a place here.

Loft Rooftop

A very large cafe inside of Promenada mall. Food is offered so you could spend all day here.

Drago Mi Je

A very nice cafe near the center that looks directly at the synagogue.

Urbano Kafa & Voće

Urbano serves only drinks, but they have a sizeable interior so you have a good chance to find a seat.

Filipenko

Located in the city center, Filipenko has most of its seating upstairs. It can get a little loud because the space is quite small, but it's a very convenient location.

MAYBE COFFEE?

Located near the center, the colorful interior, chic vibes, and large windows make this cafe a bright place to work from.

Raf Cafe

Although not as central as some of the other cafe locations, the interior of this cafe is very nice.

Honorable mentions

There are many excellent coffeeshops in Novi Sad that are non-smoking, but not all are ideal for working from. Some of them have smaller interiors that make it harder to find a table, some are louder, and some have table setups that are not so ideal for working from, so these cafes are grouped together as honorable mentions.
